Class: 3rd - Lesson: 7 Tux Paint (Line Tool)

Purpose: To learn to use the 'Lines' tool, the 'Text' tool and the 'Fill' tool.

    Prior Knowledge

    Students should know the tools and shapes of Tux Paint, and should be able to:

  • Create a new file using the 'New' option.
  • Perform painting activities (paint brush, brush model, brush thickness, colour).
  • Draw shapes.
  • Quit.

    Exercise 1


    1.Draw a star as shown in the picture below using the 'Lines' tool, and shade the star using the 'Fill' tool or the 'Paint' tool. Add a title for the star using the 'Text' tool.
